Flying Fashionably | #Ad

I'm one of those people that always forgets something when they pack for a holiday. I've yet to perfect the whole hand luggage thing too, I can never remember how many liquids you can take, and where to put everything when you go through security. But here are the things I'll always throw into as a big a bag as I can find...

For more help with luggage allowances check out the amazing Hand Luggage Guide from Purple Parking. It tells you all you need to know!

Most important for hand luggage is moisturiser, moisturiser, moisturiser. The two I like are Weleda's Skin Food for anything and everything but especially hands and lips, and Weleda's Iris Hydrating Face Cream. I'll keep makeup to a minimum because I'll probably only take it off anyway, and wear concealer (Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection usually), mascara (Benefit's They're Real!) and blusher (Bourjois' Little Round Pot in Rose D'Or). If I'm not feeling too tired or lazy I'll put a little of Benefit's Cream Shadow in Bikini Tini on, which doubles up as a highlighter too. The key with light packing is versatility! Find products that have several uses and focus on moisturising and adding glow to prevent looking tired.

The latest copy of Vogue or Elle goes in my bag when I get to the airport, but the Kindle will be thrown in too. I find it impossible to sleep while travelling so I have to keep myself entertained! Although I spend most of my time on the flight watching movies...

My outfit will be the last thing I decide on and it completely depends on the length of the flight. Comfort will always be key though, and for me that means jeans and a tee. At the minute I'm obsessed with Zara's jeans (potentially the best jeans I've owned ever), and I'll slip on any pair of sandals - these are from Primark and so is the massive cardigan which is perfect for travelling as it's so warm. And that's it, super easy! Summer holidays here I come.
